Martin Brodeur

Martin Pierre Brodeur (born May 6, 1972, in Saint-Léonard, Quebec, Canada) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He played as a goaltender. His father, Denis Brodeur, is a renowned sports photographer, former hockey player, and also a goaltender. Martin Brodeur was selected in the first round by the New Jersey Devils in the 1990 National Hockey League Entry Draft. He played 21 seasons with the Devils before playing one last season, in 2014-2015, with the St. Louis Blues.

He boasts an exceptional record and holds numerous career NHL records at his position, notably the most wins in regular season and shutouts, but more surprisingly, the most goals scored by a goaltender. This record and his longevity make him one of the best goaltenders in NHL history.
