Stanley Mikita, born Stanislav Guoth, known as Stan Mikita and nicknamed Stosh, (born May 20, 1940, in Sokolče, Slovak Republic, now part of Vlachy, a village in Slovakia, and died August 7, 2018, in Chicago, United States) was a Slovak professional ice hockey player who became a naturalized Canadian citizen.

At the end of the 1960-1961 season, while playing with the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League, he won the Stanley Cup.

He remained a member of the Black Hawks until his retirement in 1980 and is the organization's leader with 1,394 games, 926 assists, and 1,467 points. Stan Mikita was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1983. In 2002, he was inducted into the Hokejová sieň slávy, the Slovak Hockey Hall of Fame.
